CroftCast Ep. # 34

Mental Inspiration from the Past

In this episode, John  talks about learning from the past. When you’re down, there is always an up. Inspired by a Korean war veteran Ronnie Reininger. His positive attitude, even after having been left for dead at the Chosin Reservoir has stuck with John for the past quarter of a century. John was able to spend this fine example of a Marine, Patriot, Survivor and Inspiration while stationed in San Antonio.

Ronnie Reininger served as a role model of how to deal with bad shit. What he lacked in fingers, he more than made up for in heart, soul and mind. That is said with all due respect, because John has nothing but respect for him.

Here is a link to a YouTube video of when Sgt (ret) Reininger received the Lone Star Medal of Valor. It gives you a little more backstory about what he went through.
