Dictation [I forgot to turn on the dictation on until ~16 minute mark - Sorry]
Forgot to forgot to turn on the dictation I just did that where 16 minutes deep in this episode so yeah you'll get you have to I apologize to my hearing impaired forward for the other episodes uh I didn't turn it on for the multiple speaker guest calling did OK show again too many things same time I need a producer I almost hired this guy named one sound too much like John so I didn't get the job it's not because it's Hispanic sounding name is just that would get really confusing with management here as somebody said John or wand and like we wouldn't know 'cause I would answer to either I don't know what he's gonna do I'm soon as gender you can ask but no I'd forgotten that I'd forgotten to turn on dictation so I went to go turn on dictation I'd hit the pause 'cause they'll crap didn't turn on dictation let me sort this out real quick I was telling you when I was it's written down there but you didn't hear it and vice versa there are things that I've said that are not written down till about 16 minutes deep into this episode so one of the things who was aiming over there I don't know write things down I've got now I've got the the computer writing things now for me as I say them so um but it wasn't recording what my thoughts were and what I was going to say so I guess with all that said I just want to give you a glimpse into the to the regular mundane just kind of getting close out there I mean once you guys too we all should think uh about what what we're told and it's OK to question things I mean We hear about it used to be global warming and now it's just called climate change because as I told you earlier I gave you the examples of the record heat days here in Austin global warming may not be the right term she's called climate change yes the climate continues to change I agree and the same people with the models those are they they got the models like Oh well the weather in 50 years is going to be the weatherman the this is the easiest job here he's gotten Texas or she uh this time of year 'cause all they have to do is go it's gonna be hot there's nothing on the radar it's not gonna rain Job security right now anyway same model same same stuff i'ma go ahead and bounce on outta here hope you guys hope you guys are oh I didn't wanna say one other thing and going back and thinking about it I started to touch on it earlier in the 1920s the number 2 and #4 record number of days 100 degree days in Austin TX that was during the Great Depression 1920s one of the things that I'm really thankful for right now are we in a bad situation Maybe is it as bad as in 1920s I don't I don't think so mean Maybe maybe there's some similarities are correlations that we could draw and really put a lot of thought into it but I mean we're just coming off of out of the World War one right towards the end all wars and then and then not you know what 20 20 or so years later we end up in World War Two another World War no those are those are bad times and they didn't have air conditioning so right now what I'm thankful for is the fact that while it has been 100 degrees for a number of days and will continue to be 100 degrees for a number of days I do have the reprieve of being inside I can go outside but then I can come back in I'm actually getting more and more used to the 100 degrees every time I go out 10 we get accustomed to it so maybe it wasn't that bad maybe it's is it better now was it better then It was a simpler time back then that was for sure and with that look at y'all on the flip side
